Thank you so much for this, ssitimefill.
I read the book, and it is THE most important text I have read this millennium.
I was so taken with both the writing and the breadth of the subject matter that I feel that a more deserving Pulitzer was never awarded.
I rarely wax ecstatic over science books for popular consumption, but this book is really something special.

Very listenable for a text book. I have a fairly strong science background and this reinforced things I already knew to be true and then added new information to expand my knowledge.
I’ll listen to this one again. Goes along with my interests in the Free Thinking Society and The Long Now Society. This world won’t be much good to us if people cannot continue to live on it. It might take 100 or 500+ years to destroy earth’s habitability, but there are legitimate concerns that we need to take steps to guarantee human life can continue on this earth.
