Natural selection will eliminate the anti-vaxxers as nature takes its course, eliminating the fatally stupid from the gene pool. Don’t think of it as deadly dumb, think of it as organically sourced eugenics.
Bonny Hunt is smart as h..l and knows what she’s doing, unlike other North American politicians.

Dr Bonnie essentially does for BC what Dr Fauci does for the US except Dr Bonnie’s job is much easier because a much much smaller percentage of the population she is advising are “it’s all about me” anti-masker infants. Moreover, many of them still harbour this vanishing notion of ‘the greater good’, chin up, ‘do your part’ which encompasses more than waving the flag, constantly claiming you support the troops & paying your taxes. It takes more than that to keep a nation united & in order. It’s not that there are not Americans who still think & do that type civic duty, there’s just not enough of them any more. There used to be…. in living memory.

Some of us have done a lot of research and have made up our own minds. That, in a nutshell, is what freedom of opinion is all about.
If you want to wear and mask and be vaccinated with who knows what be my guest. For those of us who cannot wear a mask for medical reasons mind your own business. I don’t have to justify my position to anyone.

Interesting take on life, spaniel1. Try not justifying your position to anyone where wearing a mask is the law.
Or in, say, an operating theatre, where surgeons have been wearing masks for decades just because it makes them look good.

Do your research earwig as spaniel1 have done. First, we’re not surgeons in operating theatre but people leading everyday life. Do you scrub your hands for at least 45 minutes several times a day. Do you wear disposable cloths and gloves which you change several times a day. Do you put your hand into the people’s open bodies… The analogy here is plainly stupid. What’s more, there’s (easily found) very reliable science that surgical masks are not necessary at operating rooms, moreover they may be harmful.
‘It has never been shown that wearing surgical face masks decreases postoperative wound infections. On the contrary, a 50% decrease has been reported after omitting face masks. The present study was designed to reveal any 30% or greater difference in general surgery wound infection rates by using face masks or not.’
