If you really want these kinds of answers, listen to people who had physically died, and were resuscitated. I’ve listened to 10’s of thousands of them in the last 25 years. There is no doubt whatsoever that they went somewhere, and all went to the same place.
You can deny whatever you want, but to me this is more than proof. And I have been a hardcore atheist biologist for 40 years until I stumbled across Near Death Experiences and began studying it.
Who else could possibly be qualified to talk about it?

This really isn’t a book about the afterlife.
But if that anxious fear dominates your world, you might try Tim Bayne’s Philosophy of Religion (A Very Short Introduction) which was also on this site a while ago.
