Someone like Weinstein would be a lot more appreciated if he was in mainland Europe or Asia. In America Evolutionary thinking is rejected by all 4 political groups. And even the scientific cOmMuNiTy is totally polluted by science workers with no curiosity and who r just in it for money and status

I think they may be anti-vaxxers, but they resigned only because they were persecuted and harassed into resigning. Something not that uncommon these days.

Like people said the writers have been spreading misinformation about covid stuff. They also claim to represent the view of evolutionary scientists while their conservative views are not actually shared among people who study evolution, evolutionary psychology etc.
Understanding how the way our minds work is connected to hunter gatherer past is really important but people use terrible arguments to justify the fifties being our “natural” way to live.
I haven’t read this book so I can’t really comment on it. I heard there are some pretty weird claims but that’s obviously not enough to uncritically pass on.
But I do think stuff they say should definitely be taken with a pinch of salt. It’s a really bad mark against a scientist to misrepresent studies as badly as they have been doing with ivermectin.

Slandering two great scientists, clearly none of you criticizing use first principals thinking to reach your conclusions.. They were right about the vaccines, no T-Cell immunity. Bret always talks about how marvelous the invention of vaccines was. However you can’t apply the same vaccine models to different phylogenetic branches.. Biden and his stups were using the same narrative from original vaccines.
All mental models of reality are incomplete. Those acting like science knows everything about a new virus are beyond simpletons
